It helps to say which iPhone you're playing on, which version of iOS it has, and what happened.
Playing
How do I play?
- Walk with your left thumb: a stick appears under it.
- Cast by drawing runes on the pad on the right, then tap the pad to let the spell go.
- Tap a foe to aim at it.
- Draw an arrow for a shield, or a spiral to dash.
The Runebook on the title screen shows every rune and what it does.
What are the modes?
- Story mode: follow the red wizard chapter by chapter.
- Battle: take on one to three wizards played by the game, as an Apprentice, Adept or Archmage.
- Wi-Fi battle: two to four players on the same Wi-Fi.
- Training: practice your runes.
How does saving work?
Story mode saves by itself at each step of a quest, as you walk, and when you pause or leave the game. If you lose a fight, you go back to just before it. Battles, Training and Wi-Fi battles aren't saved.
Can I replay a chapter?
Pause and tap Restart chapter. You keep the chapters you've finished, your bag and your boons.
What can I change in Settings?
The music and sound effects volume, and the text size, from Standard to Largest.
Wi-Fi battles
How do we play together?
Get everyone on the same Wi-Fi, with the same version of the game. One player opens Wi-Fi battle and taps Host a game. The others see Morwen's game in their list and tap Join. The host picks the sides, wizards played by the game, and the realm, then taps Begin the battle. You don't need an internet connection.
We can't see each other's game
- On every device, allow it in Settings › Privacy & Security › Local Network › Wizard Siege.
- Check you're all on the same Wi-Fi network. Guest and public Wi-Fi networks often keep devices from seeing each other.
- If the game says Other version, everyone needs to update to the same version.
Someone dropped out
Wi-Fi battles don't pause, so keep the game open. When a player leaves, a wizard played by the game takes their place. If the host leaves, the battle ends for everyone. A game holds four wizards, and no one can join once the battle has begun.
Starting over
There's no option to erase everything in the game. Deleting Wizard Siege removes your story progress and settings from your device.
What you need
